Sleep is the session you keep skipping

A men's age-group week falls apart in the bedroom before it falls apart in the pool. Seven hours is the floor if you are stacking swim, bike, and run. Short sleep raises perceived effort on the same watts and makes the Thursday brick feel like a race.

Protect the hour before bed. Dim the screen, eat the last real meal two hours earlier, and keep the room cool. If you miss a night, drop the next day's intensity, not the easy spin. You cannot grind back a sleep debt with a harder interval set.
