Consistency beats the perfect week
A missed Tuesday is not a failed season. The men who improve are the ones who get back to the next planned session instead of doubling up to punish themselves. Doubling up is how calves and moods break.
Count weeks, not hero days. Eight ordinary weeks with one rest day each will beat three perfect weeks and a limp. If work blows up the plan, keep the swim. It loads the legs the least.
